A juicy round, smooth body with notes of caramel, nuts and cocoa. The main objective of coffee cooperative is to generate awareness among producers and the general population about the production of coffee in harmony with the environment, improve the standard of living for the families of the south of Lempira and change the way of thinking of the use of agrochemicals.

Our coffees are segmented by scores: 80+, 85+, 88+. The "scores" are thanks to the "Specialty Coffee Association of America", which has established a very strict rating protocol to assess the quality of specialty coffee . This rating allows industry players and amateurs to use a common language. This tasting protocol records the main criteria for evaluating coffee: aroma, flavour, aftertaste, acidity, body, harmony, purity.

The final result placed the coffee in a hierarchy typical of speciality coffees. A coffee must achieve a minimum score of 80/100 to be considered a speciality coffee.

Details of the scores assigned to speciality coffees:

Score 80+ = very good special coffee
Score 85+ = exceptional coffee
Score 88+ = grand cru
